The results show that the Democrats have captured the Congress, the Senate, the House of Representatives (HoR), and the governorships. Pollsters have been saying that while the Democrats might get a majority in the HoR, they were unlikely to take over the Senate. In short, the results have exceeded the projections. It has been a tsunami that swept away Trump’s MAGA project, lock, stock and barrel.
Obviously, the oldest democracy celebrating its 250th anniversary is capable of course correction, despite some delay. We mention the delay because the Legislative and the Judiciary could have and should have acted earlier and more vigorously than they have over the last two years.
