Research shows that a third of all mental disorders arise from exposure to hardships at a young age.

Would it not be better to predict the onset of mental illness? Perhaps. It could equip one with the resources to deal with issues earlier in life. Well, research shows that now we might be able to identify children who might be at risk of developing mental health disorders — by examining their baby teeth.
