Sharanya Bee

Sharanya lives in Trivandrum, Kerala and studies English literature at Kerala University. Her poems have been shortlisted for the All India Poetry Competition by Poetry Society of India and published in their anthology. She won the fifth place in the Rabindranath Tagore International Poetry Competition 2022 and was awarded "Poesis Award for Poetic Excellence".

The Madras Courier is the first newspaper to be established in the Madras Presidency, British India. Published on October 12, 1785, it was the leading newspaper of its time. Selling for a princely sum of one rupee, it thrived for three decades.
