As she walks down the corridor
the familiar turns unfamiliar
roles are reversed
no longer in control
no longer able to steer
the way she did till then
just a few moments in between
that bridge
past, present and future
that now seemed convoluted
confused, tied up
messed up too
like the tubes that go in and out
that hold hope and yet cause
Pain …
Life changing moments.
