Flapping her wings
A butterfly whispered
In my ears:
Call for peace
Sign the treaty of love
Your power is in our hands
And in our devotion to work
Sweat till the flag of peace
Flutters in the sky
We don’t want any more pools of blood
There is only one earth
And we are all God’s wonderful creation
Bitterness is alien to the almighty
We are here to do our part
And to preserve the legacy of peace
Making our earth a safe haven
Be careful not to fall into the path of the devil
He only exhibits hatred
Don’t let go of the path of peace
The quest for peace is not far
Just avoid your ego
And swim in the flow of love
We are all tired of walking
On barbaric blocks
Power mongers: Don’t you feel guilty?
Have you no shame?
Civilisation is turning to smithereens
It’s hard to draw and hard to photograph
The outbursts of an uncivilised nation
Yet, it will be documented in the pages of history
You will be known for your evil
Restoration of love and peace
Is the greatest need of the hour
Sow the seeds of love and humanity
Bind yourself to non-violence
Play to the tune of amity
Peace can only be achieved
When we shine with love
Only peace can empower us
It is the only path to a brighter future
