The victor writes history. The voice and dreams of the slaves are relegated, brewing a revolution from a silent seed.

History is always written by the victor.
The myths, the legends,
belong to the survivor
and the ruined city
must bow to him.
The memories of the weak are
obliterated.

Where are the dreams of slaves?
Except when they can
translate
