The scientific community is using nuclear energy to ensure safe & affordable access to energy and resources worldwide.

When most people think of nuclear energy, they think of deadly radiation causing dangerous mutations and atomic bombs. Generally, people want to stay as far away from nuclear energy as possible.

However, population growth, accelerating economic development and changing lifestyles put enormous pressure on natural resources. Resource overuse has led to a steady decline in biodiversity. Our water sources are polluted, and so is the air we breathe. Also, there is a growing problem of access to affordable energy.

To deal with these challenges, we have started using alternate energy resources that would help achieve the best results without compromising the environment.

For instance, Nuclear energy is used in the agricultural sector in several ways – from improving the health of animals to preserving harvested crops. Nuclear energy is also used for irrigation.
