The West dominates in historiography, and the younger scholars in the non-West need to take note and act consequentially.

History is often presented through a skewed lens. By omitting certain facts, one could present a misleading picture that shows the course of events through a narrow prism to serve specific interests.

Often, reputed publications that are considered to be the harbingers of truth construct such narratives. Case in point, the New York Times story on the Korean War.
