Space tourism is no more a far-fetched sci-fi dream. However, it is ravaging the environment beyond the Earth.

Imagine taking a weekend trip to mars or maybe a tour around the moon, go sightseeing to spot some satellites, and have intergalactic meals with a five-star stay. All of this doesn’t sound impossible after Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and his crew completed a ten-minute space trip on July 20, 2021.

Bezos’ trip followed the tour completed by Virgin Galactic VSS Unity that took Richard Branson to space on July 11. Now, Elon Musk plans to make a four-five day orbital trip on the SpaceX Dragon capsule later this year

Space tourism is no more a far-fetched sci-fi dream. Companies like SpaceX, Virgin Galactic, and Space Adventures talk of making space tourism more popular and accessible to the general population

Like with many wonderful and exciting things, there are concerns with this new development. Experts have noticed a large environmental payload across three domains when rockets are launched beyond the atmosphere: the ground, the atmosphere, and outer space itself.
