Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada, told the Canadian parliament on Monday that his country’s security agencies had ‘credible intelligence’ that ‘agents of the Government of India’ were behind the June 2023 murder of a Canadian citizen, Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who actively campaigns for a separate Sikh state in Punjab, known as Khalistan, was gunned down by masked men outside a Gurudwara in British Columbia, Canada.
