The story of McCuskieganj is one of glorious past, tragedy, and bittersweet memories that haunt the town.

Seventy kilometres from Ranchi lies a town that once became a haven for a marginalised community of Colonial India. Once upon a time, McCluskieganj was home to about 400 Anglo-Indian families. Today, only a handful of the families remain.
