Gurpurab marks the birth of Sikhism's founder - Guru Nanak. We collect some colourful photos of the ensuing ceremonies.

Sikhism, one of the world’s youngest religions, celebrates the birth of its founder, on a full moon (in this case, a supermoon) night. The birth of Guru Nanak 547 years ago, is celebrated by Sikhs across the world. Sikhism is among those religions that were born in India, with a following today of almost 30 million worldwide.
