Competitive badminton is mind-blowing, and it can be addictive to watch. The strategic footwork, the way the hands move, and almost magical what the wrist can do. It’s not always about strength, it’s about the placement of each shot, how much you can make your competitor move through the court before you take that strategic smash hit or less than an inch close to the net drop. That could be the winning move.
“With deepest sorrow, we would like to inform you that our beloved father Nandu Natekar passed away on 28th July, 2021. Keeping in mind the Covid-19 guidelines, we will not be having a condolence meeting. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers,” the Natekar family informed the country with a grave loss in a message.
Last thursday, the Indian badminton legend, Nandu Natekar, the first player to win an international event for India, passed away in Pune at the age of 88.
