Röntgen received the first Nobel Prize in physics. He received tremendous fame and honour for his work in Physics.

Before 1895, if one had a fracture, tumour, pneumonia or other such condition, doctors had no choice but to cut open a person for diagnosis. However, when a German Professor of Physics was experimenting with cathode rays, he accidentally discovered X-rays and changed the history of medicine and physics.
