Stefan Bode

Stefan works as an Associate Professor at Psychological Sciences and is interested in the neural basis of human decision-making. He uses a variety of methods from Cognitive Psychology and Neuroscience, e.g. transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), electroencephalography (EEG) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), to investigate perceptual decision-making, guessing, reward-based decisions, free decisions, attention and cognitive control. Recently, Stefan applied multivariate pattern classification analyses (MVPA) to fMRI and EEG data in order to directly predict decision outcomes from brain signals.
