Shahram Akbarzadeh

Prof Shahram Akbarzadeh is Convenor of the Middle East Studies Forum (MESF), and Deputy Director (International) at the Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation, Deakin University. He is a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Middle East Council on Global Affairs (Doha), and the author of Middle East Politics and International Relations: Crisis Zone (2022). He has an active research interest in the politics of Central Asia, Islam, Muslims in Australia and the Middle East. He is the author of Middle East Politics and International Relations: Crisis Zone (Routledge, 2022)
