Sekhar Banerjee

Sekhar Banerjee is a Pushcart Award nominated poet. The Fern-gatherers’ Association (Red River, 2021) is his latest collection of poems. He has been published in Stand, Indian Literature, The Bitter Oleander, Ink Sweat and Tears, The Lake, Muse India, Kitaab, Better Than Starbucks, Thimble Literary Magazine, Outlook, The Wire and elsewhere. He has several publications in Bengali as well. He is a former Secretary of Paschimbanga Bangla Akademi and Pashchimbanga Kabita Akademi under the Government of West Bengal. He worked under the Royal Government of Bhutan for a couple of years as well. Currently, he serves as the Administrator, Technicians’ Studio Complex, a premier government-run film facility in Tollygunge, Kolkata. He lives in Kolkata, India.
