Ryszard Piotrowicz

Ryszard Piotrowicz is a Professsor of Law at Aberystwyth University. His PhD is in international law, LLB is in Scots Law. He is an Alexander-von-Humboldt Fellow, and a Fellow of the Learned Society of Wales. He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of South, and First Vice-President of GRETA, the Council of Europe's Group of Experts on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings, a human rights monitoring body. He specialises in international law, especially in humanitarian law, human rights and migration law. He has worked as a concultant for many international organisations, including UNHCR, Council of Europe, IOM, OSCE, EU and ICMPD.
