Emily Setty
Emily Setty conducts research with young people about experiences of sex and relationships, both online and offline, specifically regarding the risks and harms that young people face and works with stakeholders to achieve policy and practice impact with findings. Her research focuses on identifying the social and cultural contexts and causes of risk and harm and the ways that youth navigate and negotiate risk as actors and interactors in online and offline peer networks. Her research has investigated online sexual image sharing among young people and she has recently completed projects about online harms, sexual consent and the impact of lockdown on young people’s relationships.
