Catherine Gegout

Catherine Gegout's major research interests are in international relations theories, ethics and European politics, with expertise in European foreign and security policies. More recently, her attention has focused upon European intervention in Africa, and the impact of EU economic policies in the developing world. She is the author of The International Criminal Court: limits, potential and conditions for the promotion of justice and peace. Prior to coming toNottingham, Catherinewas Pierre Keller Visiting Professor at the Kennedy School, Harvard, USA and a Leverhulme Research Fellow in 2017-2018. She was the principle investigator of the CoReach project on Europe and China: Addressing New International Security and Development Challenges in Africa.
