Writers Need Good Sex

What do writers really need? Pencils? Pens? Papers? A desk & a chair? Well, they need something else.

What do writers need?
Writers need good sex to write.
Libido born of money and food shouldn’t go astray.

A tray of pencils, pens, and good stretch condoms,
strawberries, midnight lights, love and soft music.
Pick and choose, contraceptives; pick and choose,
as Freud said: we got lots
of libido since our childhood;

The tall and lanky kid, skin with texture of cream,
she hasn’t waxed,
smoothness stays forever texture as graveless
as the diary
or produce. After her, between
butter and milk—
can you tell?

Writers need good sex, rooms upstairs, memory
of girls and boys, smooth skin, bounds of kiss,
the tremor before lips touch lips, smooth colour,
innocence and pink and red, mixed.

Writers need lots of water and good sex;
somebody give them; good weather
snow, rain or fall. Good food to nourish oneself.
