Here’s a poignant, philosophical poem that activates your grey cells to think about the poetics of patronage.

It’s something that slowly sinks in
Like rocks on turbulent seas.
Strokes of midday heat
Through shivers of aloneness,

Fear. A chase in circles.
Deep, yet clear-
Living in a rage without a vice.
To not escape

An alternate sense, multiverse
Almost middle class,
This breathing
Yet, defying:

Form, organized polity,
Poetics of patronage,
Through an everyday unbecoming.
Heaves of disarmament,

A rampage in non-violence
Against the body, and the self
In writing, raging, writing.
