The pretence of being one family is easy; hold tight, capture the moment, and seal it in a wooden frame.

Hold tight to that frame,
May we be the family, he thinks.
Photograph of a Summer evening,
deadwood clasping “I’s” to “We”.

Hold tight, or we might slip through,
And be the family we actually are.
Hold tight to that smile,
May we be the family, he once filmed.
Happy together!
