“In the book of transformations, the next episode is being written. I change my world by changing myself.”

Ever since her dreaming, her metamorphosis,
a Vishwarupa darshan, has protected us –
    imperceptible her becoming,
circling in her orbit, the earth bears the scars
of extinctions, creations, resurrections.

Altering her course many times
before entering the deep blue sea, trembling
    with fear and excitement of losing
her identity and gaining that of the ocean–
even a mighty river is a child entering the world.

Trees stand astonished at the inability
of humans to mend while they renew themselves
    effortlessly, year after year, remembering
the earth that was once a planet of trees
and humans rare as blue moon sightings.
