Do you remember the time when you stretched to a bright world to explore and roam free?

Long were the golden summers of our youth
We stretched to a bright world
Fields, vast and vacant within reach
To explore and roam free.

Sparsely dotting the scene, were wild crazed shrubs
Grudgingly yielding caramel beads
Ready to be devoured.
