School friends, once our partners in merry-making & jollity, may be far from us. But they stay in our hearts–forever.

Oh, my school friends,
I miss you very much
I miss the good old days
When we ran in empty classrooms
Revelling at our jolly ways

We are now far away from each other
Life took turns and tore us apart
But we remember each other
One is the soul, and one, the heart

Oh, my friends, on platforms strange
I miss you very much–Yes I Do
When a train that reaches late
I curse it as I cursed you

And when some old mate pings me now
I tell him–yes, the next Sunday
What if (with Glee!), my weakly heart
Explodes when I am on my way?
