Shrenik Rao revived the Madras Courier, a 232-year-old news brand, digitally on October 12, 2016. He is the founder of 7MB, a digital media company that invests in strategic media ventures.
A 2016 Fellow at the University of Oxford’s Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, he has been invited to speak at Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), University of Chicago, London School of Economics, University of Oxford, SOAS – University of London, University of Westminster, Indian School of Business, Jawaharlal Nehru University and Hyderabad Central University. He interviewed heads of states and made documentaries, broadcast in 54 countries. His most recent project was for the History Channel.
